About Mistie Kinney

Mistie Kinney relocated to Sandpoint with her parents in 1969 when she was a first grader. While her family still resides in the Northwest, she remained in Sandpoint, the town she loves. As a true native and seasoned agent, Mistie preserves the unique role of knowing the ins and outs of Bonner County and the people that share with her the ability to call Sandpoint “home.”

Since receiving her license as a sales associate in 1989, Mistie has pursued her education to become an Associate Broker as well as attaining her Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Residential Construction Certified (RCC) and Accredited Buyer Representation (ABR) designations. Over the years, she has built a strong clientele that she refers to as “friends,” and continues to achieve excellence and integrity in her profession.

Her expertise flows into all areas of real estate including: residential, waterfront, farm/ranch and unimproved property. She has worked it all with great success for both herself and her clients. Her success derives from the knowledge she has obtained as a life-long resident, her natural gift of establishing a connection with her clients and her belief that achievement comes from relationships and not the bottom line.

Mistie’s husband, Michael Kinney, relocated to Sandpoint from Alaska in 1992 and has remained one of the areas most reliable and sought-after builders. Michael is also known for his poker playing skills, earning a respectable spot in the World Poker Tour (Click here to Read more) standings and continuing to play whenever possible. Together, they often work as a team to establish quality homes in the Sandpoint area. In addition, they are raising their daughter in the community and hope to pass on the nostalgic, small hometown experience to her.
